Kapeesh

HOW DOES IT WORK?:

Thru an informal process our members will show interest in a particular subject and post it on our discussion boards.  Once we have 5 -7  interested members and  a willing instructor the class will be formed.   Please Fill Out This Form to show us what your interested in.   There is no cost and no obligation, other than to have a desire to participate.

WHO?:

We are an informal community coming together to share, learn, grow, and explore.  There are no enrollment requirements to join a class and no credential requirements to share your knowledge or passion with others.  Toddlers, Home School Families, Teens, Adults…  all are welcome to participate.  We believe everyone has something has something they can share with others not matter your age. There is in fact only one requirement:  A Love of Learning and Helping Others Learn!

WHEN?:

Classes will be formed and scheduled by the instructor.    Subscribe to this site, and watch for details on the classes you are interested in!  Some groups may meet once a week and other groups may meet once a month.  Most sessions will last 4 to 6 weeks – but then again – some may only last one day!

HOW MUCH?:

It is free!   Really!  It is true.  (Of course, we do accept donations to help offset administrative costs.)  Some individual classes may require materials.  In that case, the cost of materials will be covered by those in the class.

WHERE?:

Polson United Methodist Church has sponsored Kapeesh and offered space for classes.  Individual instructors may also schedule a class at an alternative location in the community.

WHAT TOPICS?:

The topics offered through Kapeesh will change with time, depending upon the current interest of members.  Ideas of classes include topics such as:   Photography, Creative Writing, Website Design, Couponing, Robotics, Geocaching.  Field Trips can also be arranged through Kapeesh.   The sky is the limit!  If there is enough interest in a class, then the class can be formed!
