Life Long: Learning does not begin when we enter kindergarten, and it does not end when we graduate high school or college. Learning truly is a lifelong process. The most enriching learning environments happen when people of all walks of life and ages come together and share their unique perspectives, experiences and knowledge.
Learning: We believe that learning is not a passive activity, or something that happens to you. Rather, learning happens when someone develops an interest, pursues that interest, and is able to spend time with people that have knowledge in that area.
Co-op: We are not an institution, a center, or an organization. We are a group of people working together with a common goal ~ to develop a lifelong learning co-op. This (lack of) structure allows us to adapt easily and quickly to the needs and wishes of our members.
We are in the process of forming classes. Topics will be chosen based on the results of this survey.
